Leslie Ambriz and Krysta Fauria are two AP reporters who are facing flak for their actions at the 2025 Grammys. After the backlash, the reporters issued an apology for their actions. The Associated Press reporter was taking an interview with Babyface when he abruptly stopped the interview and turned his microphone towards Chappell Roan.

Later a clip was posted on X which soon went viral and it showed how the AP reporter Krysta Fauria and Leslie Ambriz were interviewing Babyface and later Fauria called out Roan who was standing behind.

Babyface also noticed Roan and asked the reporter to take her interview. However, Ambriz did apologize to Babyface before handing over the microphone to Roan.

Babyface who is a 13-time Grammy winner and Krysta’s action did not go well with the singer’s fans who went ballistic on social media and ridiculed the reporter’s action.

Many prominent personalities have condemned the reporter’s actions.  Khloe Kardashian in a post on X stated that Babyface was treated very shabbily in the interview. Khloe Kardashian also reminded the reporter of Babyface’s contributions to the music industry and it was very disrespectful not to give the legend the due he deserves.

Kardashian added,

“PS big or small, old or new, – you don’t treat people like this. At least not in my eyes. There’s a way to handle this and this was wrong in my opinion.”

Another Legend, Dione Warwick also vented her anger on X and stated that a 13-time Grammy winner like Babyface is being treated in this manner is just unbelievable.

The 2025 Grammy Awards are being held against the backdrop of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires which have killed many people and scorched billions of dollars worth of property.

Many prominent Hollywood personalities were also forced to evacuate during the wildfires and many have lost their homes in the wildfire.

A fundraiser has been started for the people in the music industry who have been affected by the wildfire by The Recording Academy and MusiCares.
