ParkMobile users suffered a data breach in 2021 and can claim their amounts from the $32.8 million settlement. However, they must make their claims before March 5, 2025, and there is a big possibility that many genuine users who qualify for the settlement may miss the bus due to a lack of awareness or missed notifications.
ParkMobile, the digital parking app, suffered a huge security breach in March 2021, and the personal data of 20 million users was stolen.
A class action lawsuit was filed in Georgia Federal Court two months later. The lawsuit accused ParkMobile of failing to ensure the safety of the personal data of millions of users. It also alleged that the data breach exposed users to the risk of identity theft, fraud, and financial insecurity.
ParkMobile, a multi-city parking payment app, agreed to pay $32.8M to resolve class action lawsuit alleging they failed to prevent access to consumers’ data in 2021 breach. If you received notice, you are eligible for $ or parking credit.

All users who received a notification from ParkMobile about the 2021 data security breach are eligible to file a claim. The app had sent notices to users by email, but it is possible that some may not have received the mail or may have overlooked it.
Users who file their claims before March 5, 2025, are eligible for a maximum cash payout of $25. Users who do not submit a claim before March 5 will still be part of the settlement but will receive only $1 in app credit.
Methodology to Claim a Payment
Users are required to complete and submit a form, which they can do either online at www.ParkMobileSettlement.com or by downloading the form and mailing it to:
ParkMobile Data Security Incident
Attn: Claim Forms
1650 Arch Street,
Suite 2210,
Philadelphia, PA 19103
Emails must be submitted by March 5, 2025, and mailed forms must bear a postmark of the same date.
As already stated, many genuine beneficiaries may be left out of the claim settlement due to a lack of awareness or failure to check old emails. The payout amount of $25 may also discourage users from going through the filing process.
A final hearing is scheduled for March 13, 2025, and an additional $2.5 million has been set aside to strengthen security measures and prevent future breaches.
