A story that is making rounds on social media is that the US President recently unveiled a 200-foot Jesus statue at the White House. Videos showing workers installing the statue soon became viral on social media and were widely circulated.
The video was posted by a TikTok user who went by the name @pectacularsights and raked in 700,000 views as of Saturday. What is the truth behind this viral story? Read on to learn about this story.
However, according to the media house Times Now Digital, the video and the story are completely fake, and no 200-foot statue of Jesus Christ has been erected on the White House lawn, nor has anything like this been ordered by US President Donald Trump.

There has been precedent in the past with US Presidents hosting religious events at the White House, but actions such as the construction of religious structures, like erecting a statue of Jesus Christ, cannot be affected by an executive order.
No president has attempted any such act, since any such move could constitute a breach of the First Amendment and the Establishment Clause, which stipulates that the US Government cannot promote or endorse a particular religion.
In other words, there is a complete separation of church and state principle. Any such move could lead to it being challenged as a contravention of the Establishment Clause.
However, the White House does permit personnel to carry religious symbols like crosses and menorahs inside their offices or living quarters.
Despite this, there was a deluge of posts on social media claiming that a 200-foot statue of Jesus Christ was installed at the White House. Posts were thanking Tesla Chief and DOGE head Elon Musk for installing the statue in the White House.
One user wrote,

Another user wrote,

A third user thanked Trump and wrote,
