Viral Video of Eminem Leading “F* Trump” Chant Sparks Outrage—But There’s a Twist!

A video is making rounds on the internet which purportedly showed Eminem starting a “fu** Trump chant during one of his concerts. The video, which has since become viral, has led to a huge outcry and spawned frantic debate on social media. Did Eminem really urge audience to chant ‘f*** Trump’ at his recent show? A video which is circulating on social media platforms, which shows Eminem starting a “fu** Trump chant during one of his concerts. The video has been pushed as a recent video, but the truth is that it is an old video which is being touted as a recent one.

In the video Eminem can be heard saying,

“I’m not about to stand up here and use this f*ckin’ stage for some kind of a platform to be all political and sh*t, and I don’t want to cause any controversy so I won’t say no names — but this motherf**Ker Donald Trump I can’t stand!”

The audience immediately broke out into a wild cheer and started repeating f*ck Donald Trump.”  Eminem can be heard saying to his fans that when he said ‘f*ck’, fans respond and say ‘Trump’

The chanting continues before musicians join the chant and said

 “Cause he’s got our country f*cked up in America,”

The musicians then transition smoothly to “White America”.

The clip’s authenticity was checked and it was revealed that the incident is true and the video genuine. However, the video is not recent and is from August 2017, when Trump was president. The event happened at the Reading Festival in Reading, England, and it was widely covered by many media outlets like Billboard and Independent.

The former covered the news on August 28, 2017 while the latter covered the news on August 29, 2017.  The video was also fact checked by X and a note was added which stated that the video, though genuine, was from 2017 and is being put forth as a recent video.

Eminem made no bones about his dislike for Trump and showcased it in an anti-Trump eight-minute track called ‘Campaign Speech.’ The lyrics of the track included phrases like

“A f*ckin’ loose cannon who’s blunt with his hand on the button/ Who doesn’t have to answer to no one—great idea!”

Emimen also derided Trump in a show in Glasgow and wore a shirt with the slogan ‘FACK TRUMP’ emblazoned in the front.
