The Police in Israel have opened investigations into hacked CCTV images which was distributed. The videos included female clients including married women having sex with their gym trainers. The scandal has affected entire families as many of the persons in the footage could be identified.
The video clips are footages captured by CCTV cameras which were hacked in the premises of a gym in the city of Yavne. The videos were then leaked online and a huge controversy has erupted.
The Police have stated that an investigation has been launched after two complaints have been received one from the owner of the gym and another by a woman who was at the gym.
Hacked CCTV Footage Leaks, Rocking Families in Yavne
The city of Yavne has a population of about 60,000 and many residents have told the media that the acts by persons in the leaked videos have destroyed entire families with individuals suspecting the fidelity of their partners.
A woman who recognised one of the women in the video as her aunt said to the Walla news site
“How can I describe the shame I felt when I saw the clip. Our family is ruined. People don’t understand the damage caused. It is not just clips. It destroyed entire families.”
Another Yavne resident stated to the same media house,
“The facts are that there were married women who cheated, some of them endangered the health of their husbands since they had unprotected sex with the trainer, who also had intercourse with multiple other women.”
The media house also quoted a person whose name was not revealed that he knew the trainer of the gym who had since disappeared. The trainer also switched off his phone, shut down his Facebook and Instagram account also.
Incidentally, the faces of the women are clearly visible in the leaked videos.
The leaked videos have caused a huge outrage in the community of the city. A resident of the city derided the person who leaked the videos and said that the videos have caused irreversible damage and destruction to many families.
The wildfire spread of such videos can only make the situation worse. Yavne is small city with a population of only 60,000 and almost every citizen knows the other citizen.
The Police are trying to ascertain how such sensitive materials were hacked from the CCTV footage. The Police also warned that the distribution of such videos without consent is a breach of law and would invite a jail sentence also.
